Precautions during the use of liquid nitrogen tank

As a cryogenic liquid, liquid nitrogen must have a specific storage container to ensure the safe storage and transportation of liquid nitrogen. However, what should we pay attention to in the process of storage, transportation and use?

1. Doer to the large heat of the liquid nitrogen tank, the heat balance time is long when filling liquid nitrogen for the first time. You can fill a small amount of liquid nitrogen medium for precooling, and then fill it slowly.

2. In order to reduce the loss when filling liquid nitrogen in the future, refill liquid nitrogen when there is still a small amount of liquid nitrogen in the liquid nitrogen tank. or fill liquid nitrogen within 48 hours after using up liquid nitrogen.

3. During infusion, water and frost are formed on the outer surface of the liquid nitrogen tank, which is a normal phenomenon. When the pressurization valve of the liquid nitrogen tank is opened for pressurization, because the pressurization coil is bonded with the inner wall of the outer cylinder of the liquid nitrogen tank, the coil of the liquid nitrogen tank will absorb the heat of the outer cylinder for vaporization to achieve the purpose of pressurization, and there may be spot frost on the outer cylinder of the liquid nitrogen tank.

4. If the liquid nitrogen tank is not used for a long time, the liquid nitrogen medium inside the liquid nitrogen tank shall be discharged and blown dry, and then all valves shall be closed for sealing.

5. Before filling the liquid nitrogen medium in the liquid nitrogen tank, the container liner, all valves and pipelines must be dried with dry air before filling the liquid nitrogen medium, otherwise the pipeline will be frozen and blocked, affecting the pressure rise and infusion.

No matter where the liquid nitrogen tank is used, the operation must be carried out according to the requirements. The nature of the tank cannot be ignored, and safety must always be put in the first place. For more information, please contact Doer  equipment, service hotline: 0512-81666096
