Simple distinguishing method of large atmospheric cryogenic liquid storage tank
Large atmospheric cryogenic liquid storage tank is an atmospheric or pressurized cryogenic storage facility, which is usually flat bottom double wall cylindrical. The inner cylinder of the storage tank is generally made of 9% alloy steel containing nickel, and the outer wall is made of carbon steel or stainless steel. The suspended thermal insulation support platform on the wall top is made of stainless steel, and the tank top is made of carbon steel or stainless steel. The insulation materials in the tank are mainly expanded perlite, elastic glass fiber mat and foam glass brick.
The inner wall of the container in the single tank is generally 9% alloy steel containing nickel and the outer wall is carbon steel, while the auxiliary container is only a liquid receiving tank surrounded by a lower protective embankment to prevent LNG overflow and diffusion in case of an accident in the inner container. The inner wall of the full capacity tank is made of nickel containing 9% alloy steel, stainless steel film or prestressed stainless steel, and the outer wall is made of prestressed stainless steel. Therefore, the outer wall of the full capacity tank can not only prevent the overflow of LNG leakage in the tank, but also prevent bullet breakdown, thermal radiation, etc., but also play the role of auxiliary container.
These two types of storage tanks have their own advantages and disadvantages. When selecting the tank type, factors such as technology, economy, safety performance, floor area, site conditions, construction cycle and environment should be comprehensively considered
