Precautions for use of large LNG tanks - Doer equipment
1. Large LNG tanks cannot be transported with liquid, and the LNG liquid in the tank shall be discharged when it is stopped for a long time.
2. For the tank with double root valve, the valve close to the tank shall be normally open.
3. When unloading, it is recommended that the limit filling capacity of LNG storage tank should not exceed 90% of the useful volume (85% - 95% of the geometric volume given by the manufacturer), and the utilization margin should not be less than 10%.
4. When a large number of long-term "sweating" or frosting occurs in large LNG tanks and the pressure continues to rise rapidly, the vacuum failure should be considered, and urgent treatment should be carried out, such as manual pressure relief and handling of LNG liquid in the tank.
5. When the pressure of large LNG storage tank is high, it is different that there is a problem with the LNG storage tank. It is necessary to consider the heat leakage and liquid storage time of all systems. Usually, when the pressure exceeds 1.1 MPa, it is necessary to discharge and relieve the pressure. Long term high pressure of the LNG storage tank will affect the life of the tank interlayer vacuum.
6. Large LNG storage tanks are recommended to conduct vacuum inspection every other year. If the vacuum degree of LNG storage tank is less than 1 Pa when it is hot, and less than 0.5 Pa (0.00,375TOF) when it is cold, it is qualified.
7. Large LNG storage tanks are pressure vessel equipment. According to the requirements of the Supervision Regulation on Safety Skills of Pressure Vessels issued and implemented by the People's Republic of China, the installation, repair and transformation of pressure vessels should be reported to the local quality inspection department by a qualified unit, and the installation, repair and transformation can only be carried out after obtaining the consent.
