In industrial production, in order to improve the efficiency of storage and transportation, gas is liquefied. Liquefied gas must rely on high pressure or low temperature to maintain its liquid state. At present, cryogenic LPG storage tanks are widely used in many industries, with good application effect. With the continuous development of domestic and international economy, the storage scale and demand of liquefied gas are increasing, and the demand for low-temperature storage tanks is also increasing. Large cryogenic tank is one of the most widely used cryogenic tanks.
There are three main types of large low temperature storage tanks: single metal shell storage tank, double metal shell storage tank and concrete shell plus double metal shell storage tank (prestressed concrete storage tank). Among them, the single layer metal shell storage tank has only one tank, and the tank wall is insulated by the whole structure, that is, the foam insulation polyurethane foam insulation layer is closely combined with the tank wall and the outer aluminum protection layer. The whole casing is suitable for storing liquid medium with temperature not lower than - 50 ° C. The advantages of storage tank are simple structure, relatively low cost, easy construction and short construction period. However, the thermal insulation effect and safety are not as good as the double metal shell tank. The double-layer metal shell storage tank is composed of an inner tank and an outer tank. The double-layer tank is an insulating layer. The inner tank is used to store low-temperature liquefied gas, and the outer tank is used to protect the insulating layer. The prestressed concrete storage tank has greater anti deformation ability and smaller thermal expansion coefficient. These tanks have a prestressed concrete shell with carbon steel lining on the concrete inner wall to prevent air leakage. The shell is used to resist external impact, and the low-temperature liquefied gas from the inner tank is collected and closed.
